Goldy taking a thinly veiled swipe in his post game interview - refreshing "to come to a group that really appreciates what I can bring".
Goldy, I'm not sure things are all that different - winning the hit outs and losing the game has a certain ring of familiarity to it

This makes me sad.

Just outta curiosity anyone got said lowlight footage? Thanks in advance.

Goldy was a champion player, and really good in the media, but eh. As a person had a couple flaws. Not too surprised that Al being blunt about wanting to phase him out for a younger ruck, and then Scotts blowing smoke (and cash $$$) up his ass (as Scotts shafts another young player or 2) got to his head a little. But, to be fair, Goldy is still a decent ruck even if he's a fair way down from his peak.

He's bitter about it right now. Fair enough. But we've got to do what we think is right for NMFC not Todd Goldstein FC.

Whatever. We've got work to do..

Thinly veiled. More like overt.

Disappointed that it ended the way it did. He was pretty unwavering in his time with us. It's a shame even if it seemed/s the right move for the club

What a thing to say by Goldy hey, but as of last week, it doesn't surprise me. What I mean by that is, go and watch Brad Scott's interview with Callum Twomey. Look it could be nothing in it but it had a touch of a condescending tone by Brad aswell. Brad Scott mentions that Goldy, in one of his first training sessions with Essendon says to him "oh are we playing in a finals series this week because of the amount of supporters we have here". Like its some big revelation, who doesn't know Essendon has more supporters than us.

When Goldy left, pretty much everyone was supportive of his move even if it was to Essendon. His achievements and the player he became at North, no one can take that away, that was special but stop saying stupid things and putting the supporters a bit offside. We remember fondly his career with North, so with a few words, don't ruin that.

Look at Drew Petrie for instance and the way he handled his exit with North. Funnily enough an article came out yesterday. Petrie goes on to say in his interview with NMFC yesterday, "When the club said that it wanted to evolve and bring in some youth, I completely agreed with it, there was always going to come a time for that to happen". Now that is all class from Petrie and how to exit the club with humility, dignity and grace. No taking a swipe at the club and Petrie even went on to play for West Coast aswell. Oh well everyone is different.

What is Goldy even thinking, its surprising he said what he said especially given his age, he is going to turn 36 this year. It was the right time for both him and the club to go their separate ways. Maybe Goldy just wants it easy that's why he went with Brad because we finally now have Accountability at the club.

Anyways enough about this crap. We have an exciting young group coming through and a game to look forward to tomorrow. So onto bigger and better things.

Hope it works out better for him than when Grundy said the same thing after landing at Melbourne. (Not really, I don’t care.)

Common for a traded player to say stuff like this. Not nice to hear but it’s human nature for them to talk up the new place.

As is it human nature to hope they and now he fail very badly.

Kelli Underwood has just called Nick Watson Jack Ginnivan, despite one wearing long sleeves and having long hair, and the other wearing short sleeves and having a mullet. Nice to see some things haven't changed

Her commentary game really has nothing redeeming about it. There'd be hundreds of people who would kill for a shot at her job.
