Lucky Berry kicked that last goal, while he was grabbing the pill for a shot, Rankine was tackled to the ground by Walsh when nowhere near the action, and completely ignored by the ump's, so, karma Bluebaggers
Or McKay dropping a chest mark.Had a lol as that Owwies fella coulda won the game but stubbed his toe :-D
All the excuses we’ve made about playing good teams… Saints nearly beat GWS, Crows beat Carlton away…
We’re just full of excuses, often not very good ones.
It’s told in the context of our draw but other sides have shown the fixtures weren’t as difficult as we’re going out of our way to point out.All of those teams have an actual senior core of players who have not come of the back of some of the worst years any football club has had ever.
Let’s look at this weekend as a really simplistic example we will have a back 6 where the players out there have never set foot on an AFL ground as a back 6 ever. We are reliant on a bloke playing his second ever game and another his 11th nailing down KPD spot to even make us break even.
The things you point to as excuses are just some of the context around the side currently.
We’re young and we’ve sucked for ages. We’re gonna suck for a while still until we can organically grow maturity into the side.
No matter how angry you get at the club or the situation there’s a s**t sandwich infront of us and it’ll stay there for some time yet.
Blooooody hell we should’ve listened to Mick Barlow. At the end of last year he was singing the praises of the Werribee boys Sam Clohesy and Shaun Mannagh.
Clohesy looks every bit a jet playing on a wing for Gold Coast

They also defend pretty well. Port had multiple entries and it took a fantastic kick by bergman to goal.Freo open that space up at half forward from centre clearances very well.
And it will be so.Think I’ll be sick watching Chol rip our backline apart next week.
And it will be so.
He’ll have acres of space to operate, whilst our 50 will resemble a London tube station at peak hour.
