No, it's not against the rules, especially what they were actually doing, they weren't striking him, they were just grabbing at his arm.

If he steps back out on the field he's saying he's good to go. Can't be officiated to different rules than other players

No, that line applies to a player who makes himself available for selection (if you put your hand up for selection, you’re good to go), not a player injured mid match who grits the teeth and gets back out there.

Cameron isn’t “good to go”, he’s toughing it out. Good on him.

You don't get officiated to different rules if you're injured.

Frees must still be officiated to an equal level.
If a strike to the arm requires to be a 5 on a scale of 1-10 for a free, that doesn't suddenly get lowered to a 2 for someone who has an arm injury.

If you decide to go back out there, you're agreeing to be umpired to the same rules.

On this unreasonable or unnecessary contact rule, My understanding/logic would be if the player has just been injured and is with doctors, is laying on the ground injured or running off to go and get treated and contact is made then that’s fair but if you get treated and come back on you are considered not injured.

Including the rule that says you can’t make unreasonable contact with an injured player.

The unreasonable part is targeting the injured body part. No one is saying he should be untouchable, that he can’t be tackled or hit hard in a marking contest, but whacking his injured arm while running back to position is targeting the injury and unreasonable.

How was that deliberate out of bounds? and that was just a throw not a handball which set up hipwoods goal.
