The great man is 1* overnight in the first 2nd XI game of the season. A big score here could see him make it into that Tassie line-up, with huge cracks appearing in the starting line-up.

It's been coming for a long time and finally it looks to be here.

The great man himself may well debut in the first class arena this Friday in Newcastle after recently smashing them in the magoos and in club cricket.

Let's sit back and enjoy what the man has to offer.

Pretty sure he will play.

Really hit form in the TCA comp after Christmas and topped it off with a ton and another big one in the CA match against Queensland last week.

I'm excited too.

It's official, Dools will make his debut at bat at first drop. This man eats pressure for breakfast and a double ton is on the cards. Will this be Australian crickets messiah about to be born?

Brad Haddin must be keeping in this game, because surely someone has cheated for Dools to be dismissed twice in one match. He must've known not to get in the way of the Geeves show.

Been a while since an update.

Just made a ton the other day...nothing special.

Thought he was stiff not to be called in as back up for Ponting. I guess the selectors are holding him back until his single has been released in India.

Another day at the office, another ton to the total. Takes his season runs to 9th in the Shield.

Perhaps he should take the gloves off Painey, or bowl a few leggies (couldnt be hard to emulate Steve Smiths) to further his chances of NZ selection.

Yep good on ya OP, this is a very special moment for him. He'll could do some queue jumping this season as not many batsmen putting their hands up.
