I won't post the official letter from the official site, but the official delistings are:
Sammy - a bit sad
Smith - should've been kept ahead of Fevola
O'Keefe - Bye
Hotton - A bit of a shame!

i just can't understand how lindsay smith can't get a senior spot. with all the injuries that carlton have had this year why hasn't he made it into the seniors? he was at times dynamite in the two's at north. a skilled, mobile tall with a great leap made him one of the favourites on our boards.

i guessed as much that pagan would delist him. i doubt that anyone else will give him a go now either.... a shame.

Sad to see Smith go. I thought that he had some real promise, and a backup ruckman. Oh well, them's the breaks.

Manton (unsure on Glenn... he might offer some valuable experience for the young guns. Be sad to see him go).

agree with that list, only i'd keep onto plunkett, delist fevola, keep merrington, keep manton, keep prendergast and i would have kept onto lindsay smith....but anyway....pagan was always going to delist him....

Manton is contracted to the end of next year.

Not that contracts mean anything these days but I would hope the club would honour it. Like he's had a chance to play for his spot this year with a shocking run of injuries.

Yeah yeah, I'm just a girl, I know nothing and obviously I only want him to stay on because I'm in love with him despite being 24 and quite over that stage . . .

I have trouble understanding why so many Blues fans have something against Doering. Just what did he do wrong this year? He has good hands, he got himself fit and ran hard, he can read the play, he went to ground looking for the ball. He would play a good quarter and then get benched often in 2002. I had him down for 1 bad game only this year and a few good ones taking into account the time he was given on field.

Obviously people are looking at where he will fit into a new look Blues side without looking at his actual performances.

Doering and Penda

Doering :

I could either way on him. I saw him in the game against Eagles, made some poor decisions under pressure. Probably cost us the game with his decision making in the final few minutes. But I have not seen much of him, so could be an odd moment.

Penda :

Is a medium term project. He will deliver incrementally from here on.

Let us not get over emotional, and throw the baby out with the bath water.

whats the deal with everyone saying that this person should go or that person should go. ok every1 is entilited to his or her opinion, but should not be saying "oh he should go beause......." obviously these players have gone for a reason, sure its sad they are apart of a club u all love. why would pagan get rid of lindsay??? is there a specific reason as to why he left?? im just curious to know
p.s can n e one tell me as to why they would want to get rid of fletcher, franchina, Freeborn and prenda???

Prenda IS NOT BEING DELISTED so ner

wot planet are you on? Delisting Prenda? He one of the few big men we have and he is quick around the ground but u may not have noticed this because u were so board at the football that u fell asleep. Prenda wont be gone because he is talented and YOUNG you obviously have no idea about the club wanting to move forward hey.

Of that list I'd like to see them keep Plunkett, Manton, Doering, Prendergarst and maybe Fletcher.

Freeborn is a hack and Carlton should see if any other clubs are interested in trading for him while Fevola has had enough chances to proove himself, he's too inconsistent and too undisciplined.
