Jenkins 5 Dixon ?
End of season my predictor has Jenkins on 12 and Dicko 14
Power forwards they aint.

rufus_afc why didn't you start this Thread before last night's Kamry match?

Flat track flog

It's round 1 you flog, there's 21 games to go. The Puffers haven't even played yet, Dixon could easily kick 10 today against the 'Aints

Considering how all you flogs have been telling us how crap Jenkins and how awesome Dixon is, kicking more goals in 2016 than Jenkins should be a walk in the park for Charlie.

I had even really even heard of Dixon til the puffers went to recruit him

So I'm guessing he did shit all
Up there

"Crashing the packs " according to the paper is what reckons he does good - hope he remembers poor old Schulz is probably at the front of that pack !

No D/H.
It was in fact one of your dim customers here who not only compared the two, but placed a bet on the outcome.

Yeah well I've seen a few Puffer customers talking up how Jenkins is rubbish and Dixon is the next coming, this thread was born totally out of Puffer logic.

So after being well held early, Dixon bobs up in junk time to pinch a couple of goals and finish the day with 3 goals and Jenkins takes a 2 goal lead into the Showdown.

Should be a very interesting result next week with both teams going head to head.

Has GWS even played a game yet that anyone has found interesting ?

In-form forward Cam McCarthy (four goals) starred and 10 individual Giants players scored as the home side prevailed 16.12 (108) to 12.12 (84) in a thrilling encounter at Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday.

In a sign of how much the Giants have improved, the South Australian outfit thrashed GWS by more than 10 goals in both meetings last season.

This latest win makes it three on the trot for the Giants - the club's biggest winning streak in its short history.

McCarthy kicked off the onslaught as the Giants scored five goals in the first 14 minutes to bounce to a 34-point lead.

The Crows were left shell-shocked as their rudderless defence fell well short against midfielders Toby Greene (three goals) and the sparky Dylan Shiel (34 disposals), who kicked one major and ran off on the odd breakaway.

Adelaide finally managed a shot on goal in the 16th minute, a free-kick which Walker struck perfectly for his first of four goals.

But Tomas Bugg responded, notching his first major of the season to help the Giants to their highest first-term score of 40, as they lead by 19 points at the break.

Jeremy Cameron continued his recent solid form up front, slotting two goals to take his tally for the last three games to 14.

Adelaide steadied the ship, but their depth was sorely tested in the absence of Matthew Jaensch (knee) and half-back Brodie Smith (concussion) among others.

Their stocks took a further hit when Rory Laird was stretchered off in the third quarter after a bad head clash with team-mate Jake Lever.

Adelaide's Luke Brown also took a worrying hit and Sam Kerridge went off with an ankle injury.

But Betts (three goals) and Walker played well, and the Crows were well served by Josh Jenkins, who scored two.

The Giants now have a 6-2 record after eight rounds, equal to their tally for all 22 games of the 2014 season.

They leapfrog the Crows, who now slip to 5-3 after eight matches.

Charlie has a ping 55m out from the western boundary side of AO.... GOAL. Is Spudkins capable of that:rolleyes:

Is that the goal that he chip scabbed from Wingard ? Great kick, but he did nothing at all to earn it.

As for his goal kicking it a shame Dixon couldn't ping the one from 15 metres out directly in front :D

By the way .....
