Yes, South won by a point in a high scoring 4. 5 29 to 3.10 28 game.

Kicking against the wind in the last quarter they came from behind to beat North Warrnambool, coached by Nathan Vardy, who have never won anything but their cocky, yappy supporters and team in general carry on like they are the best thing since sliced bread.

Bad luck to Mick Barlow and Steve Motlop who they flew in for games during the year, the money was worth it though.
