So much for the storm today. Apart from the winds that knocked my bins over its been **** all.

Really? This afternoon and tonight we have had heavy rain and hail to go along with the wind.

Been pleasantly mild this winter in Melbourne. Had my shirt off in the back yard today even

Melbourne Winter is dull. Been nice and clear recently but mostly it's just cold, bleak days. They had 20mm of rain in July and 43mm in June. Rains about half the days each month for a smattering of drizzle.

Perth Winter is off its meds. We had 20+mm of rain in a day 3 times in July and twice in June for a total of 280mm. Yet in June we had a day that was 24 degrees with 9 hours of sunshine.

I don't really mind if it's a couple of degrees in the morning when it warms up to high teens or low 20s, **** those Melbourne days where it starts off at 5 and battles to get past 10. Today is just weird. Pissing down and blowing its **** off one minute, clear the next.

I've got a magnificent chicken/vegetable curry going in the slow cooker, fire on, a nice glass of vodka on the side and I've just rolled a fat scoob + quality tunes in the background. What could possibly be better than that? **** summer, **** the heat. Sunlight and face melting temperatures can gagf.
