Roughead - .....I think he'll dominate playing at CHB next year.
I hope not, Phil. I'd rather he dominate our goalsquare.

At the Hawks we have a long list of players who we expect to to rise fairly rapidly, ala Franklin, Birchall and Lewis.
Of those Ellis, Muston, Tuck, Thorp and Bailey are probably the biggest chances of cementing themselves a spot in the best 22 and contributing well each week.

i think Wells is quite overated, he hasnt stepped up to that next level...alot of promise but continues to stagnate.
I actually think Tarrant will have a good year next year with a pre-season under his belt.

A lot of injury trouble, especially this year when he did finally step up before that

lol i was waiting for you to reply to what i said...i like wells, hes from my home town, but there was a lot of hype around him and im yet to be convinced. I would like for him to prove me wrong though :thumbsu:

I think Xavier Ellis is good, showed signs in AFL, and did very well in VFL. Sam Gilbert from saints hopefully to step it up again.

no swans posters here ... oh well
i'll go into bat for the red-and-whites ... he's a way off yet, but a big forward named jesse white is going to make a splash over the next few years
we have others, but we'll let you guys find it all out in the fullness of time

McIntosh will always be better than Warnock mate, clearly you haven't seen enough of him if you think Warnock is a better young ruckman.

Considering their respective stages of development there is not much separating the two. McIntosh had a solid but not spectacular first proper year of AFL in 2006, Warnock the same this year in 2007. In fact, statistically the two are almost identical after their first seasons. Obviously McIntosh has 3 years on Warnock, as well as a full season of AFL footy so comparing the two right now doesn't really make sense.

To say McIntosh will always be better than Warnock is just naive. From what I have seen they will both be in the upper echelon of ruckmen for a substantial portion of their careers. Only time will tell who will be remembered as the better of the two.

Others from the Dockers to look out for include Drum, Foster, Campbell and Gilmore.

and hurn lerea and butler will all be great players not superstars but very good players

Start a poll and see what neutrals say mate, no way would more than a few take Warnock over McIntosh, after the almost AA year he just had. He dominated and was next in line after Lade to take out that second ruck spot in the AA side, if you were recruiting the only ruckman you'd take over McIntosh right now would be Cox i'd think, Mack is young as hell and has shown he can dominate games in more than just ruck contests, when has Warnock done that to the extent McIntosh did?

Warnock is a fair bit younger than McIntosh so he could still be as good as McIntosh in the end.

From Collingwood:

Dale Thomas to lift
Sean Rusling to play consistently
Chris Dawes to hopefully get a crack
Alan Didak is the one though. He could absolutely explode next year.

Other teams:

Jake King - Like the look of him
Nathan Foley - Yes he will be a gun
Travis Boak - So will he
Xavier Ellis - Well, I want to see something. Maybe this is the year
Richard Tambling - Probably not :D:D

Hey just wondering peoples thoughts on Mustons i beleive it is??? from Hawthorn. Heard Permie Dermie talk about this kid on the radio, rated him as one of the best on Hawthorns list.... Djukerra as well from Geelong i had him in my fantasy team after watching him in the NAB cup looked top notch... Theres must be a good selection panel down at geelong
