Justin Bieber is a pop star teenager with a bad haircut, who all the teen girls love nowadays. HE SOUNDS LIKE A CHICK, the first time I heard one of his songs I thought it was a girl. Not only that but his bone structure looks very woman-like. You would know what he sounds like if you've heard the "Baby baby baby ohhh. Baby baby baby nooo. Thought you'd always be mine, mine" joke of 'music' on the radio.

haha, sounds pretty dire - I do know who he is, I've seen his silly face plastered all over the intertubes and tv etc; but I honestly don't think I've ever heard one of his songs - I count that as a blessing ! :thumbsu:

Good! Trust me you would choose the bands in the OP in half a heartbeat if you had to choose between them and Bieber.

Can someone help me out, please?

There was an early 90's or mid 90's pop song by a band with a girl vocalist, and the song had a lyric in it, "i really like you", just before the musical chorus began. Anyone know the name of the song? Not sure if the name of the band had the word Jane in it, or Sunday or something.

It's basically a sweet song in the vein of "Kiss Me".

May be Melissa Etheridge?

Thanks, for replying.

No, not Melissa Etheridge. It's a band, with a female singer. The song is called something else, but i just know that line it. Soon as it's sung, there's like a chirpy guitar melody that kicks in.

Thanks for trying, it's neither of them. Too rock n roll, whereas the song im trying to locate is more sweet with the same kind of melodic guitar sound as The Cardigans and The Sundays. I'm still looking thru Sundays songs but i dont think it's them.

Really angry my memory has betrayed me. I don't wanna drag this thread down with trying to find this song, but if anyone knows a lot of bands with a female singer in the 90's, PM me or post.

If I ever find the ****er I'll post the clip on here.

Lock It by The Falling Joys.

No worries, there is a discussion about the Falling Joys in another thread and from memory there are 1 or 2 massive fans on this board.

I'm sure they played recently too.

Thanks, again. I'll look up the thread and have a read.

In that video, I really like her facial expressions and voice when she says "i really like you". She has several different facial expressions that just are perfectly exactly how one would feel when they first realize they like someone. Especially that first one when she sings, "christ, i really like you". Really good video how she's singing most of the song out of the car window with that sweeping lighthouse light.
