You do realise your club made a 2.5 million dollar loss after their best year ever in all the areas you mentioned? Under the new deal you still have an additional 1 million to find before you break even. Good luck with tin rattling.
Did the Crows budget for a loss?

Despite recording substantial growth in these key areas Port Adelaide recorded an operating loss of $2.5 million for the year ending 31 October 2014.

So long as you do better than Port Adelaide.

Well at least in one regard off field.

You must be very happy with missing finals for 4 of the last 5 years Bernard?

Love how they are dancing around the subject on their AGM thread.

It's as if it never happened :drunk:

It couldn't have happened, how could the team for all South Australians with record crowds post a $400k loss?

Hang on, but we're the former basketcase who's had to invest heavily in the football department to get back to the top, and are slowly rebuilding up a good number of sponsors, in a town where supporter numbers are in the minority, led by some TV finance guy. Meanwhile the Crows are meant to be some superpower in this state, who sold all their corporate inventory, have amazing long term sponsors, get a free ride at Adelaide Oval, highest home attendance in the league, and led by some financial genius with years of experience running major banks.

Port have outlined how they're fixing things and already have new major sponsors lined up, what's Chapman's plan? Hell that result probably doesn't even include Sando's payout from sacking him two years early :$

I thought Parvo was already there?

Nope he was always running for one of the "supporter elect" spots on the board.

They just made him an honorary board member until the members were allowed to vote for him ratify the old boys choice.

match day presentation - already a leading area. Opinion Backed by gill. But more coming. Keeping powder dry.

Hahaha.

I would almost bank on their ground breaking improving on league leading area strategy - two 61st man flags to walk around the ground before the game!

"Adelaide on Wednesday night reported a $408,000 loss, despite raising revenue by $5 million to almost $40 million last season" :)

So the Crows report another loss.... And that's with a $0 lease for 50 years at West Lakes courtesy of the SANFL.
Coulda been a whole lot worse.

Got to laugh at these Minnow shitfights.

Arguing over who has the biggest financial losses.
We haven't talked about merging tho. Or selling our games interstate. Or taking government tourism money as a "revenue stream".
Still haven't sunk as low as the #alwayshawks.

Hush now Puffer and be grateful the Back2Back Hawks are propping up the Minnow club you follow.
