We need north to remain bottom 2 for these to stay the same.
However the draft is littered with FS and northern academy kids so they will all be bid and matched, meaning it could be pick 25 at our first selection by the time draft night comes around.

I'm sure we will try. It will be better for the comp then giving more freebies to Geelong or Brissie or such like.

The intense pressure game they want him to play comes at a cost. Physical maturity will hopefully allow him to adapt.

Treacy compliments Amiss and Jackson beautifully and his contribution is often more than just his stats read.

If he had kicked those 2 goals his individual game looks a whole lot different.

He's going fine and getting experience, needs to stay in permanently IMO

Treacy used to be one of our most accurate kicks when he first arrived, I hope he works on it and brings it back. While he does compliment our other forwards, goals win games and if he isn't kicking them than he is replaceable. Jackson also needs to teach him how to mark which is also ironic.

I don’t know about goosebumps ; I only get that when I listen to Roy Orbison singing Crying. But Eddie definitely has huge respect and admiration for Michael Walters. He has actually said as much.

Oh yeah, his physicality around ground balls and in the air is fantastic and the set up is working perfectly, the spots his to lose but at some point a key forward needs to kick goals and Kuek and Sturt while not having the level of physicality he has, have their own cons and are playing WAFL.

I want Treacy to make it, but if he wants to keep the wolves at bay, converting two of the shots he missed would do that

Yeah agreed, I was thinking about it last night and it feels like he does a lot of stuff that there aren't stats for.

But as it's been said. He was a super reliable kick for goal in year one and if that comes back on the regular it's gunna be another string to the bow.

I think his general presence in forward pressure, ruck assistance and bringing the ball to ground at least as well as the odd mark and goal outweighs the negatives of the yips .

I haven’t seen Corbett play , he would be the next in line I would imagine
I’d prefer to give Treacy maximum game time for the rest of the year
Feels like theres something there

Treacy is a very good kick. He's just going through a phase. On that subject, did you see Walker's kicking today - a thing of beauty. To think they have Fogarty as well.

Playing ruck and further up the ground will be causing him to be a lot more fatigued, which will impact his goal kicking. When he builds his tank, the accuracy will return. His technique is sound.
