The Richmond Football Club Need To Help Save Tigers

I'll be honest with you guy's I find the tiger survival much more important then the survival of the people who live in these countries, thats how I feel, these countries are scum, and most of the people are scum.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever read, and I've been posting on Bigfooty for a while now.

It's great too see that the club has made that connection with Melbourne Zoo, thanks to that I will be doing an animal encounter with the Tiger Cubs at the Melbourne Zoo. It costs 250 dollars but its worth the experience!! If it's anything like dreamworld I assume my money will aid their cause to save our Tigers. I'll post photos up later this week of the cute Tiger cubs when I do meet them.

Hopefully our clubs connection with Melb Zoo can grow and develop into something larger, because their is room for improvement :)

The world wildlife fund website also has an adopt a
Tiger plan where you can donate a set amount each month (minimum 15 bucks which I just did) to help the tigers. "humans" make me sick!!!

The Richmond Football Club Need To Help Save Tigers (Warning: Gruesome Photos Included)

Only 3,000 left in the wild, down from 100,000 at the start of the 1900's.

Did you know only $5 million dollars is collected worldwide, each year, to save one of the most magnificant creatures on our planet? What a PATHETIC estimate, our own club could actually raise enough awareness to make a REAL difference.

It's sad how this beautiful animal has been reduced to a furry coat, or even fantasy medicine. The Tiger is in danger of losing it's battle against the greed of mankind, but surely our football club can actually play a part in helping these animals?

I strongly argue that our club needs to play an active role in raising awareness of what is a global problem. Dreamworld's Tiger Fund has contributed 1,000,000 dollars to tiger conservation projects.

'Save Our Skins' was the campaign that saved our club, 'Save THEIR Skins' can be a new campaign the club should strongly focus on.

We can begin a not for profit partnership with Dreamworld Australia (gosh maybe even the West Tigers as well) and promote donations, funraisers, promotion through our guernseys, club website, punt rd, social websites and the media to raise some real money and awareness. There are endless possibilities and our club can indirectly benefit from this. It wouldn't cost our club much money, it would only give us an extra objective to focus on.

We will gather some solid media attention if our partnership is strong and works out well. We will gather support from people who actually love animals and we will be the first football club to think (literally) outside the box and try something different. We would also raise our profile in QLD and throughout all of Australia. Most importantly, it's a great cause and we can really make a difference, I would 100% get behind this.

So many Richmond supporters were drawn to our club thanks to the Tiger, we owe this creature everything, it has supplied us with our image and our heart. It is projected that there will be no Tigers in the wild in 10 years time if this trend continues, it's time to 'Save Their Skins'.

Here are some photos that will hopefully get the blood burning. These are gruesome shots, but appropriate, does this look like shit we should just accept? Let's Save Their Skins.

Thank you Richmond, you took a step in the right direction
