So the next guest on the SwansCast is a very popular and well known recently retired Swans player.

Can you guess who it is? To be confirmed of course ;)

How did you manage to get Tom Derickx?

A bit disappointed really, not many questions from the Swans board for the Ted Richards podcast o_O

Hey ted,

1- do you think chunky gets a bit sulky when we dont read the blog/watch the podcast?

2- is your brother available to negotiate contracts for me?
3- do team mates talk about impending end of contracts, eg would the other guys last year be wondering if tommy mitchell stays? Sam reid amd zak jones this year?
4- better coach for you, roos or longmire?
5- should the cola be kept for sydney

Wow - Great get mate! You left the announcement until last minute so my questions are also last minute.

Teddy, I believe you have the best calves in the history of the game. Do you ever re-call hearing me yelling out my appreciation for said calves? I was the guy wearing red & white and using other terms such as: "beastly", "SuperTeddy", "Tedtastic", "Teddy Teddy he's our man, if he can't do it pack up and go home!" etc & so on?

How's life after footy? I see you played a game for OldXavs the other day... This going to be a regular thing? How'd you pull up?

Can you please come back to the club and do a weekly Richards Report for us? At least do it on Big Footy if the club doesn't want any of that awesome action?

Had much contact with Xav lately? How's the young lad doing? Any idea if he's interested in pushing for an AFL spot again?

I announced it last week on Wed but this thread sort of slips to the bottom of the pile pretty quickly, considering I just mostly post updates in it. I asked Chief is it's possible for 3rd party non-BigFooty affiliated podcasts to be linked - unfortunately not. The blog doesn't have as big a social following as some of the other fan blogs for other clubs, podcast included, but it's certainly growing.

Close to 2k social followers, between 200-300 regular podcast listeners on Facebook & Blubrry. Done very well considering it's still in its infancy.

He actually does a Podcast called The Richards Report, but it's about finance and investment, instead of football :p

I'll chuck this one on the list, thanks GotTheGoodes! Great question! :D

As for the others, most of that will be discussed in the interview part of the conversation, and there's a few other questions already lined up to ask about Xavier, what he's doing and what not.

Good question this one, I'll ask it!
Which teammates did he draw the greatest motivation from? and why?

We'll actually cover this one, or at least the juicy bits, in the interview stage with similar questions :thumbsu:
What did a career in the AFL teach him that he draws on in everyday life?
