I was watching Keis One this morning and he was in the Down Under Bar on Sukhumvit Soi 7/1 (Nana) with the game playing in the background, I had to check to see which Aussie bar you were in as there was a guy in the background watching the game and trying to work out what the strange guy was doing talking into his camera lol.View attachment 1468287

Only went there a few times but loved it! There's a store in Sydney called Utopia Records that's the same kind of store and they are still trading.Who remembers Metal for Melbourne?
I went to Utopia 20 odd years ago, didn't know it's still going.Only went there a few times but loved it! There's a store in Sydney called Utopia Records that's the same kind of store and they are still trading.
Do you remember pipe imported on Flinders Lane?I've been going there since 1984. I lived near Sydney for 14 years in the 90s/00s and it was a regular trip to go there and to a few others. They've had 6 or 7 locations and still going strong! I usually go up there once a year but haven't been for a few years now but get a lot of new releases online from them now.
There's Redeye Records up there too that are similar, less metal but big on rare and import rock stuff. Worth a look if you're up there and their website is great.
Milk bars still exist? Assumed they were just part of a drug racketWhy don't milk bars sell pr0n mags anymore? Last couple that I've been to I've asked, Are they all the magazines you've got? And they act like they don't know what I'm talking about. I don't want to go into a Club X or something because I think I'll go in at the wrong time and my dad will be in there or my manager at work
Don't think I've heard of that one. I grew up in the country and didn't actually get to many of the Melbourne music stores. I used to go to Sydney for holidays a lot then moved up there so I knew all of their stores well.Do you remember pipe imported on Flinders Lane?
Yeah, collector's was on Swanston Street and Au Go Go was in the side street, both long gone!!Don't think I've heard of that one. I grew up in the country and didn't actually get to many of the Melbourne music stores. I used to go to Sydney for holidays a lot then moved up there so I knew all of their stores well.
I do remember Collector's Corner which I think was in Swanston St and I think Au Go Go was another good one? I've got a feeling they were upstairs in a side street, Little Bourke or Little Collins maybe
Roo is worth more.
probably true around 1985Roo is worth more.
There are a couple around where I live, but if they don’t sell pr0n mags, fireworks, ninja stars anymore, then what’s the point? They don’t have anything anymore that you can’t get at Coles. One of them in Croydon, the guy sells individual cigarettes for 50 cents each, but that’s itMilk bars still exist? Assumed they were just part of a drug racket
