FWIW, I'm eternally amazed by the ancient Chinese wheelbarrows

Can't find one to show as an example online, but I've seen bigger wheel (still a single wheel) versions that can carry half a dozen adults in more comfort than this one, AND their luggage - talking large trunks, chests etc., with one bloke apparently fairly easily able to push it!

My mother in law has a dealer for choc tops. The ones that have a slight deformity in shape or cracked chocolate. Incredible

It's kinda hard to buy into the Myth of Progress when you look at the worthless buildings we slap up out of toxic materials, then look at what ancient people were capable of doing using a far more practical application of physics and the natural materials they had at hand, not to mention chemistry like Roman concrete - which we still can't build anything even close to being as strong and durable as today.
