Mate got new Coles brand Parmentier potatoes this week then noticed they were 'packaged in Belgium from imported ingredients' - which means for certain they're grown somewhere in the eastern European bloc where the soils are all nicely radiated from Chernobyl etc..

They have the sacks of potatoes in the store.
