Car styling over the past 20 years has been in this strange hiatus where designers dont know whether to go with straight lines, super curved or a balance of the two.

The exception is of late where I can see the styling mimicking an aggressive 70s tstyling ling in a sense, but it's an ugly bastardised version applied to hatch backs and SUVs. Shallower rear window profiles, upward sweeping door lines etc.

Love it or hate it, the 80s and 90s car styling was the last decade of anything original and daring.

Nobody wants to step outside the box and innovative and the sheeple lap up the mundane whilst listening to Taylor Swift and eating kale freekah.

I genuinely think that us Aussie folks have been adjusted to accept mediocrity. Toyota has been taking us mugs for granted. 8 months to wait for a shithouse basic Prado with hard plastic. So sad.

buy kia or hyundai same quality and more warranty, toyota just pay for the name these days

Sounds like the easiest job ever lol.
It’s pretty good, but it absolutely has its shit days when you spend 10+ hours trying to repair mechanical damage without a break so it all evens out

Going on a family trip on Friday so of course the son got a stomach bug and I've had to book off work immediately before my leave, makes me look like a prick
Hopefully the rest of you can avoid it. The only thing worse than booking off extra work time before your holiday is to get bloody sick whilst on your holiday!

The FG G6 needed too much work after running it into the ground for too long so actually bought a new Kia Sportage a few months back. Never thought I'd ever buy something like a Kia but it has actually been a ripper. Sure, it has a bit of plastic but it's mostly solid and door still closes with a thud. Also packed with enough tech and screens that it feels like I'm driving a space ship. The warranty is awesome too.
