Richmond drafted Ty Vickery with pick 8 in the 2008 draft. Vickery didn’t hit the lofty heights Tiger fans hoped for, finishing his Richmond career with the hipwoodesque stats of 158 goals from 119 games before being secured by Hawthorn as a restricted free agent.

Richmond obtained pick 29 as compensation and drafted Shai Bolton, who played 135 games for 165 goals for the Tigers, including 2 premierships.

Bolton was traded to Freo for picks 10, 11 and 18 (with 14 back to Freo). Those picks were used on Hotton, Faull and Trainor.

Not a bad return from drafting Sideshow Bob back in the day! If those three kick on to become stars we may have to build a statue of him at Punt Road.

Yes we need somewhere for the pigeons to crap

His marriage has just broken down and his ex has started OF....
Vickery 'smirked' in the background while she announced their divorce?

'The clip ended with Rodionova offering a handshake and Vickery placing a half-eaten banana in her hand instead.'

seriously WTH, I obviously don't even get what is normal anymore.

I wonder who was at fault.
At certain times relationships hit a break point.
If she wants to play doubles on only fans that’s up to her but what the deuce!
Hopefully tie can take advantage of this drop shot and move on from this aged 30-love affair.

Still can’t believe we kept his dad on as Boxing coach for as long as we did. Unfortunately another tall that didn’t make it.
remember when he had 30 possies and kicked 5 against colonwood ?

Damme! ... what's she hard up for cash?

She was on the tour for 20 years and only had US $2.4 mil career earnings. Flights, hotels, coaches, Physios would've cost more than that. Tennis Australia is well known for being generous to players who defect so she would've gotten a bit from that too. She's been bluing with them for years so I dare say she was removed from that gravy train. Vickery had his own financial woes with pizza 🍕 parlours from memory and hired Pushup and cronies to threaten to kill his business partner.

I saw Vickery at the U18 carnival at Telstra Dome and he looked magnificent compared to Watts and Natanui. He's the gift that keeps on giving..... who knows Hotton could become the next Dusty and land us picks 1 & 2 from Tassie 🥵🥵🥵🥵

There is one problem with this theory. If pick 14 which became pick 17 after compensation picks i.e. Murphy Reid to Fremantle. Helps Freo win a premiership in the next few years then we may be kicking ourselves. Maybe Holding onto Shai Bolton and taking Murphy Reid would of delivered a better result (I doubt it Hotton looks like Shai 2.0). Anyway just playing devils advocate. I love our picks I think our recruiters did an amazing job.

Long Live the Ty Vickery Theory
