Christ, I am loathe to defend Scrotums2, but Pauline's comments weren't racist because they were about Pakistani specifically, they were racist because she was telling a non-white Australian citizen of 30 years to go back to "their own country" - implying they didn't belong in the country of their citizenship.

I was so bored, until I got snogged by a rather tasty (slightly older) Swedish female fan (I was 15, she was 18 at the time)

That's the only possible reason for me to ever attend the tennis again, for the chick's (although at my age, I am prolly to old to act like like a Free Range Rooster lol at Rod Laver lol)

Yeah I accept your point. His arrogance and total disregard for our country and its laws (even if you disagreed with the harsh Vax/lock down laws at the time) has always grinded my gears. Then there the was the recent diatribe about him being poisoned here in 2022.

No arguments from me that he is probably the most talented (at the very least durable) male tennis player ever, but his total arrogance and thinking himself above the law really shits me.

He is/was a guest in our country and should try acting more in a manner that befits one of that status.

Former NBA superstar Alonzo Mourning so loved our Counrry when he played for the USA in the 2000 Olympics he named his first born daughter Sydney.

If nothing else though, Novak's constant shitcanning of our Country has unexpectedly given me an unexpected and surprisingly lost patriotic love of Australia, actually going to chill and enjoy Australia Day this year for a change !

Agree with all that. And I enjoy seeing him (finally) lose. Especially the annoying Serbs...not a nice thing to have groups of pro-genocide types putting their nationalism on full display every year. And you just know they'll disappear along with Novak, as they've never really been about the tennis.
