Just stopping by to wish you guys all the best for the next season, and to thank Fred for giving me the chance to play for the Vics.

I'll be at the Phoenix this year, just thought I'd inform you all.

Where's my offsider Boncer, it wouldn't be the same without him.

Stick to the winning formula hey Fred, replace anyone who left with the same player type and keep putting out those batting tracks and we'll walk it again.
 
The pitches I chose were 3 normal (WWD), 1 batting (W) and 1 bowling (L)

The opposition chose 3 normal (WLD), 1 batting (W) and 1 bowling (W)

Overall, normal LWWDDW, batting WW and bowling WL
 
Didn't we choose batting for both the GF and our first final? And that was because we had slaughtered somebody on a batting track in a late H/A game.If I'm right then we're 5 from 5 on batting.

It all came from when we set up the team with 6 batsmen and we won our last 4 or 5 games of the season, after a couple of backs to the wall draws when we were still playing 5 batsmen.

My feeling is go into the next season with the same player types as we finished the last season and go for batting tracks when it's our choice & we'll surge to the top of the ladder.
 
I wasn't counting finals. The tactics for the early matches will probably be as you say but could change depending on what strengths and weaknesses show up.

Actually, terminate this. I won't be playing for the Phoenix this year, I'll be staying at the Vics, if that's alright with you boys, and Fred, especially.

Will play whatever role is needed. :thumbsu::thumbsu:
 
We'd better organise a Vice-Captain.
