******* foxtel cut out the program at 67 minutes. Was still going. Gonna have to catch the last bit tonight.

Mine cut out just as

Negan and Carl were sitting on Rick's porch and Negan was fondling Judith and wondering if he should just kill Rick and Carl and just live there. Running time 62:08

I got jibbed, right?

The episode grinded my gears like never before, maybe its because we are 1 episode away from the mid season break and i feel like we have not progressed at all since the first episode.

The fact carl acted like his old man and stormed the saviours only to turn pussy, singing, then crying, then acting tough again was nauseating.

We have since episode one been told of how strictly neegan sticks to the rules, yet in flies carl kills a couple guys carries on like a fckwit and neegan doesn't so much as slap the kid around, i mean jesus christ stick to your script.

Episodes seem all over the place this season its the opposite of the boring go no where season, except its ridiculously messy.

Lessons learned from this episode:

Baseball bats don't have vaginas.

Negan will screw almost anything.

Jesus can get on top of any truck, anywhere, no matter how improbable.

It's not sloppy writing, it's just crap. The plot revolves around people doing dumb things.

True, but isn't that due to the scriptwriters, the actors don't just go on set and do dumb things of their own accord, i.e sloppy (or just plain bad) writing.

And off again apparently, even in plain sight of people.

Think the other thing we learned, although it's been obvious for some time, is that the character of Negan is a millstone around the shows neck, and the sooner he cashes in his chips the better (wouldn't mind if he took Carl with him come to think of it)
This article says it perfectly .........................

The Governor was so good come to think of it
I feel he was much more physically intimidating. I can't help but think to how he owned Meryl and just generally bossed his enemies through brute power and his own version of crazy (though from memory Michonne had his measure a bit...).

Negan just smirks and waves his bat around while surrounded by all his henchmen.

Plus you could actually connect with the Governor, with the loss of his daughter, etc... And you could understand his motives better - Woodbury was an actual community, you could understand why he wanted to go after Rick and co.

Negan is just annoying at this stage

Then how did you want it to progress?

Any jabronis sick of this show should be watching Ash vs Evil Dead for their tv horror needs.

There isn't a more fun show on television at the moment.

Negan has way too many scenes and talks too much.

If they wanted to make him scary then he should have very few but impactful scenes.

Really it should have just been baseball bats kills and threatening Rick by almost cutting off Carl's hand.

None of this Darryl stuff and going to the settlements and chatting with Rick and now Carl.

Should only be a few scenes of Negan in the whole season, instead we have the Negan show.

He has plenty of cool henchmen who can do all the work, we shouldn't even be seeing Negan and Dwight chatting. It's unnecessary we know Negan burnt the guys face we know he has his woman, they dont need to keep shoving it in our faces.

Its just gold from start to finish. And in spite of it being largely a comedy it's scarier than anything walking dead has done.

Oh yeah, there's some ****ed up shit in there. It's the perfect Evil Dead 4.

Even Michonnes opening scene was slow. Stopping and looking off into the distance and... stopping.

They have to stretch out the story to fill the time. I have been watching every week thinking: "If think they are short on plot this season, spreading it out like butter over too much bread."

The best stories are the ones where the writers couldn't fit everything in.

It's really getting boring. Negan needs to have some super loyal bodyguards because a big group like that will turn on him and kill him if he keeps up the brutal act.
