I think I'm more excited for that since I never played the first. I started with 2.

It will be good to play Geralt one last time.

I started with 2 as well. I went back to 1 sometime before 3 but even by then 1 was severely dated and I forced myself through about half of the game before I couldn't will myself any further.

Sad thing is I hadn't heard of the Witcher series it just came up on steam games I might like... Watched the the couple of vids and bought it straight away.

I like 1 better than 2 but 3 ended up being the best. but i'm pretty used to jank and some things that people say are dated are actually good features that I wish more games still had lol

1 definitely shows signs of them being a poor indie dev at the time though in terms of lack of face models, voice acting etc

anyway, I guess this is years off, be nice to see something before 2026

only reason I knew about 1 when it came out was my mates dad was from germany and he would play all the eurojank RPGs and convince us to try them lol

1 was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed it, 2 wasn't as good and definitely the weakest in the series. 3 is one of the best games of all time, I'd say.

Can't wait for the remake of 1, and whatever else they have planned as a new installment.

CDPR said they are aiming for the new trilogy to release within a 6 year period.
