There also needs to be a side quest where you hang out with a retired Geralt on his vineyard.

I have no doubt there will be a quest or 2 hunting monsters with him. In the ending for 3 they said he still took contracts from time to time just to kill time.

People who miss Geralt have to remember he will be back in the Witcher 1 remake so they'll probably have him do a completely new script. It's been in development by Fool's Theory since 2022 with CDPR supervising so it might come out before this.

Google it. Just don't include any other search terms. Especially not something like "kiryu kazama rule 34".
NGL, I have googled "Seonhee rule 34" before. Gotta say, some people have pretty ****ed up imaginations!

Yeah create-your-own-character wouldn't work anywhere as well for this franchise imo. The story would suffer for it.
It never does. Hogwarts Legacy suffered from it too. I barely remember anything about my character, I may as well played as a mute.

Yep, trashed all over socials already. That and she’s not a Witcher, seems to be the bulk of the negativity.

Fair few morons already calling her ugly too.

She's supposed to be older, on top of that the stress of everyday life as a Witcher, I dunno wtf people expect her to look like a supermodel (I still think she looked great but it's a cinematic so her final in-game appearance will be different when the game releases in 5 years. Like they did with Geralt).

So apparently woman can’t be Witcher’s? Be interesting how they navigate around that, and it’s already causing a big stir online with fans.

Maybe that's what it's about? She was trained as one, quite possibly worked as one but also may have never been accepted as one. Still a long way to go.

How long til the "I won't play as a woman" types come out?

Nevermind, already seen a few.

Imagine being so insecure about your own masculinity
Already well under way.

Now, if it had of been a sudden total rug pull and they shat on Geralt just to forceably include a female protagonist in a cringey way to score internet points I'd take some issue, but given the storyline so far, it actually makes sense and is lore accurate... from what we've seen in the games, but I'm pretty sure even in the books (haven't read them, just from what I've seen said about them).

I thought the mutation didn't work on females which is why there are only male Witchers.
Just read a comment (on FB, so take with a grain of salt) that said the School of Cat trials apparently work on women.

I'm sure it'll get explained in game.
