Love this breakdown from a filmmaker who goes through the structure of the trailer:

Also the most OTT reactions to the trailer:

Wish I could muster that much enthusiasm for anything (and TW3 is my favourite game).

Whenever I see the creator's reaction plastered on the thumbnail it's almost guaranteed I won't click.

Sad that we're done with playing as Geralt but Ciri had playable sections in 3 anyway and it was fun combat.
The main issue is that her teleporting was OP as well as her parts often feeling like they occurred in confined space comparative to much of the Geralt combat. I doubt either of those will be issues for her as the protagonist in the next game.

Am I the only one that doesn't want Siri to be a **** like geralt? She was like a daughter to us playing w3 and the last thing ya want is her to grow up to be..... Easy.
Given she's the protagonist, if she's "easy", isn't that on you?

I usually take the pantskyle road with these things. Ie I'll **** anyone and anything if it lets me.

Geralt is only a man whore if you choose to be one. I'd hazard a guess it will be the same with Ciri. The whole point of RPGs is to play the way you want to play.

True.

I thought the mutation didn't work on females which is why there are only male Witchers.

They didn't work on most of the boys either.

I played The Witcher games, I don't remember anyone saying that women couldn't be witchers, just that they hadn't been any women witchers.

I think the Trial of the Grasses was never attempted by any females, but it was never explicitly stated that females couldn't attempt it.

As far as Ciri goes, she's half witcher already, having taken mushrooms used in TOTG, and the training required to become a Witcher. She's even referenced as a Witcher in the game.

I'm excited to see how this plays out, if she's attempted the TOTG or something similar, and how it affects her. Certainly more interesting than playing Geralt for the fourth time.
