Great Northern Ocean Express Rail now clocks 12 mins 7 seconds from Mirakzul's mushroom Island to Yellow Wool Station. It's bearing down on 5,000 blocks.

I can imagine, all that traveling and finally meeting another player heh. By the way I'm currently wearing your diamond booties. I was digging the rail tunnel when I spotted them near some lava close by. That unfortunately was all that remained. They weren't in a torchlit area .. I assume you were running around that extensive cavern system by lava light? What can I say lol. :/
In other news, the rail link is now extended to Obsidian Station. Only the Stopping-All-Stations line connects there thus far, the Express line is only about a third of the way along.
