Don't like having a three-way vote on only two votes because a manipulation to cause a coin toss could easily change a person on one vote to the firing line and if evil has seered a crucial good role... we need to pick a clear second.

The issue isn't that they know what they're doing it's that we don't know which vote is wrong

Makes getting the lynch right harder

Only benefit of the mayor being dead is we don't have that to deal with as well

They put the manipulation in at the same time as the seer. Let's say they manipulate to vote for the person they seer. They luckily seer the doc. They only need one more vote for a coin toss/dice roll. I'm just allowing for all possibilities.
