As many would know I have 2 Autistic kids and they are getting to the stage where they are demanding more from me. Since the season ended I have found that I am really struggling to juggle being online and spending time with the kids. So with that in mind I too am stepping down as moderator (can hear the cheering from here).

I have thoroughly enjoyed my 5 years in the job, working with all the moderators in that time, in particular I enjoyed working with Tugga and Roar Passion, as we strived to change the culture of the board and make this place the best place to discuss all things Richmond.

Along the ways have formed some great online friendships with a number of posters from here and will enjoy getting online and chatting about all the great things that are coming our way in the next few years.

To the new Moderators that wil be taking over, if you need any advice feel free to drop me a line and I'll gladly pass on any tips, but like Tugga said the best advice I can give is be yourself, don't change to please anyone.

Like Tugga I will be hanging around until after the draft this week and will then be spending a bit of time relaxing in the lead up to the 2013 season.

I haven't been around here for a long time since I never even knew BigFooty existed but I certainly appreciate all the time and effort yourself, tugga and RP put into making this board a great place, not just with your moderating but with your posting. If we lose you guys as a mod at least we still have you 3 around here, that's what makes it all ok

I've managed people before and that's bloody hard but trying to manage the same people under the cloak of anonymity talking about a topic they love more than anything else must be a ****ing nightmare.

FWIW, RT, I believe you were 100% right in closing down that George Pell troll thread and I would have told 'em to shove it (though not that this was your reason of course ).
