I have just heard a totally unsubstantiated rumour that a young and exciting AFL player has tested positive for the third time. No he is not from the WCE. The AFL have apparently gone to lock down mode. My source swears this is true and from the horses mouth. I guess we will have to wait and see.

No unfortuantely not. I would love them to be on the end of something like that but I think they might end up losing their president...........

No player will have officially returned a positive result until the B sample is tested and returned, so any governing body is technically, and legally, correct to say "no-one has had a third strike" until that second sample result comes back - which takes around four to six weeks. That's all I'm saying.

Your right Checkers it is quite funny to see how we all dance around the obviuos. Ah Well lets hope not for the games sake. I personally think it is a bs rumour.

More unsubstantiated drug rumours!!!! Teriffic. How many of these do we have to rabbit on about beofre people realise how foolish they look when posting such tripe?

this thread is a waste of time!

i heard a rumor that a player was caught with no top on by police and taken away for questioning. He was later charged with carrying drugs, but that charge was later dropped. He then flew out of the country, and apparently couldn't be found - I can't name the layer or the club - but its a massive story - time will tell - LOL

You're right TT. Our time would be much better spent on endless threads about the Tigers line-up for round 1, or Cotchin/ Mortin, or Mortin/Cotchin, or Richards/Pfeiffer/Collard, or calling for Wallace to be sacked if we haven't won a game by round 4/5/6/7/8, or calling Miller an ***ehole.

It's much more interesting reading someone's opinions about something they can't and won't change than seeing something that could be an actual story - maybe/maybe not - but at least this thread has a tiny chance of finding a place in reality.

The only reason I started this thread is because my source is usually VERY reliable. If it is true it could almost be as big as the Cousins story. i will be watching a particular club and player over the next few weeks. By the way have all clubs started training yet or are some of the finalists still to start?

Pretty weak, if you dont have a name, a club or even a state probably shouldn't be posted. In spite of the fact that "the players who wont be spoken about at the club that shall not be named whose medical records were found in a suburb that wont be named by an off duty occupation cant be named" are all very well known now (thanks for jumping the gun channel 7) not all of us know what the hell you are talking about now, if you can give nothing else (even if only speculative) dont bother.

Why cant you just give the details if your source is so reliable

Well Jack, I understand you, and I have no problem with these "speculative threads". Geez, if nothing else enjoy a bit of intrigue, or don't bother opening the thread or replying to a post - especially if you're a Carlton or StKilda or whatever supporter. Go back to you own boards and discuss how long Judd's schlong is, or who's better looking - Nick Riewoldt or Fraser Gehrig.

As for naming names, I suppose you all think Elka Graham is lying, or Werner Rieterer. You know the AFL will jump on anyone given half a chance so names can't be mentioned - therefore you'd suggest nothing is said? Well congratulations AFL, Slater & Gordon, and George Orwell, victory is yours. The masses are too scared to believe anything but the party line.
