It is definitely a worrying sign for a team like the roos that nathan thompson is ur major goal-kicker. This was emphasised when matt mcguire shut him down over the weekend. Also, it was nice to see shannon grant not being able to exert his last minute heroics, (which is all the kicks he gets all day anyway) as he was kept by baker. Danger signs for the roos, especially if they want to pass the 2nd round of the finals.

Thompson's a much improved player and we don't rely on him that much. We've got 5 players who have kicked over 20 goals, so we've got plenty of foward options.

If you don't win the flag in the next few years you will never win one with this team. Gehrig is the key and he's getting old.

Thanks for stopping by.

So he should be our major goal kicker his playing in the forwars line isnt he? Nothign wrong with that at all. We didnt lose because of our forward line, if we held Gehrig you would have lost. Remember none of the others players kicked majors.

Thanks for your insights. Are they based on St Kilda's years of success in the finals throughout the last 20, no 40, no 100 years?

'Bye!

Good to see you are still bitter about Shannon Grant carving you up in round 3.

Thompson was shut down yesterday hey! Didn't Gehrig, your spearhead, get held goalless last week? Hmmmm, worrying sign me thinks.

No. It was probably the Milne incident. It's one the highlights of football. Put the words "comedy" and "Football" together and you get that incident. I still have to laugh about it and it was way back at the start of the season! :D
