Ticket question for this week

Hopefully an easy one to answer - as we only hold social club membership and reserved seats for Marvel, and travel is up to 2 hours each way from where we live, we haven't been to an away game for years.
But with one offspring who has never experienced the MCG, am planning to head over this Saturday.

Do GA tickets thru Ticketek allow you to sit in the top level of the Warne/Southern stand, or is that only reserved, and if so where do GA allow you to sit? (hoping to be under cover, only reserved still available appear to be in the open).

GA seating at the MCG will be subject to how many reserve seats are sold for the game. In general, there are usually GA bays available in the Olympic, Warne and Ponsford Stands on level 4, and occasionally a bay or 2 available at ground level - either in the Warne or Ponsford Stands.

Check the MCG website for an update on GA a day or 2 before the game.

If you're concerned about the rain you could go to Marvel instead. Plenty of undercover GA seating there.

The slight drawback is there's no footy.

Not overly concerned about rain per se, given we live in the region of the rain capital of Victoria, but I spend a fair bit of my time out in it in winter on our property, and with our animals, so I'm happy to sit in relative dryness to watch the footy. I have become soft in my old age though, given the freezing and wet winter Saturdays I happily spent standing in the rain on the terraces at WO, or on the hill in the pocket of the Geelong Rd end.

Btw, do you happen to know if they broadcast MCG games on the scoreboard at Marvel when it is empty? (Asking for a friend )

I’m looking at tickets at the moment. There’s seats in bay N14. Looks like the best available…but am I going to be the only Dogs fan there? I’ve generally only sat at the Dogs end at the MCG in previous years.

I got tickets in Q55 level 4 Olympic stand in the end. Not sure who will be around us, but these days if I get too lippy, my offspring keep me in line. If surrounded by rabid Tiger fans though, will be an education for them!

Too late now, but you should never have to buy a reserved seat on Level 4 for any of our games at the MCG.

Also, the MCG always advertise what seats are available as GA.
