How bad are these websites for booking AFL tickets? Gives you absolutely no versatility in booking seats.
prior to this year if i didnt like the seats it gave me, i would cancel, try again, and get different seats, and keep doing so until i get a decent section.
now it just sticks to what you were offered the first time. and they release the tickets in a ridiculous order (ie, if you book early you'll end up on the flank somewhere.. if you book late you might end up on a wing)
how do these companies continue to offer such a shocking service year after year (ticketmaster has bundled finals series for years now), and still be the ticketing agent for their respective venues?
why cant they actually take some input as to what kind of seats you'd like/what area you'd like to be in.
i bought some movie tickets the other night from the village website, and i actually selected each seat that i wanted from a map of the cinema. i understand this isnt feasible when theres 50000/100000 seats.. but surely they'd be at least a tiny bit flexible?
and the options it does give you just dont make sense - this is what i have to choose from when trying to book tickets for collingwood vs bulldogs:
