You can go to any ticetek agency (including the ground on matchday) and pick them up, and all you need is the credit card that paid for them and photo id (oh, and the person who bought them).

Do you need the membership card that had the barcode on it? Might sound like a dumb question, but havnt had to pick up tickets before so just preparing myself in case I do get a ticket.

Cheers mate, I rekon it would be better to do it over the phone because it will be much harder to do it over the net.

Nah, I went into crown to pick my tickets up last week, and I had all my cards on me, and all they wanted was my Credit Card and my Photo ID (drivers license)

Nah, the phone is terrible, you can sit in line for up to an hour.

I'd suggest, if you can, to have one person on each.

I've gotten through within 90 seconds on the net (completed transaction) for each of our 3 finals games so far this year.

But can you choose where you want to sit for this game on the website becuase I really wanna sit in the ponsford stand again. I loved it.

What about other club members? My cousin has the 3 game membership for Essendon, so do they have ticket prefrences also or would they have to wait till the Public Tickets go on sale?

so how does the pickup work this time? they are not selling at outlets? so will they email the tickets??

gonna throw a spanner in the works if you're using another gold barcode...

HI
Just read on the afl membership website that people who upgraded their membership through the club (eg.legends)from AFL will have to buy tickets in the AFL section not collingwood membership section.Wondering if that will make it easier for us AFL silver collingwood club support members to get a crack at a seat this time around? Also when do they buy their tickets if they were AFL silver, does the upgrade help for this rematch or not

Thanks

I doubt Silver AFL members with Collingwood will get a crack at seats unless general Magpie members get a go tomorrow afternoon (i.e. there are tickets left after Priority 1, 2 & 3 members have had their shot)

I don't think the AFL reserve will get past full members again.

Silver members can use their club support bit as a Collingwood membership and buy tickets at the same time as most Pies members tomorrow, we wont be sitting in the AFL members.:thumbsu:

Yeah, that's what I said :) Remember Priority 1, 2 & 3 all get a shot first before all other club members, although I do think there will be tickets available at 1:00pm.

Got 2 social club barcodes as I can't go to the game as I'm interstate and can't get there. PM me if interested with a reasonable offer

(reposting due to time waster)

Even Collingwood fans will try to make a profit on getting GF tickets, even if it's off other Collingwood fans

For those people who want barcodes to buy a ticket will need to show the membership card along with id upon collection so I dont think that will work out unless the person that gives you the barcode gives you their membership card somehow.

Can't you just get the tickets emailed to you?

Yep, I read that you also need to show your membership card when you pick up your tickets so not sure that it will actually work....you should check this out before you get your tickets.

Praying it's not too hard to get tickets online tomorrow morning...As a priority 1, I think we should get first dibs in the morning like we did the 1st time round....ah well!

I suggest you guys get someone in Adelaide or Sydney to line up for you on Wednesday. Possibly camping out overnight. There will be no lineups here, so that's your best bet for the public sale on Wednesday..

Hey guys was looking thru some other posts and came up with the following link:

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/103224/default.aspx

it states this:
Up to 16,000 further tickets will be made available to Collingwood and St Kilda members for the replay, on top of the 25,000 already allocated.

This would suggest that there would be 40,000 members from each club allocated tickets would it not??? hence give all members a decent chance of getting a ticket?? Im an AFL Silver Member with coll club support and this would ensure there would be plenty of tickets still available at 1.00pm 2moro.

Considereing members with other engagements/overseas/interstate/country Vic and may not be attending how many members would u envisage actually accessing tickets? Id say about 45,000 out of our 57,000 would try and get a ticket. thats a pretty good chance of accessing 1. ppls thoughts?

There will be 41,000 tickets available between two clubs, so only 20,500 to each club. We have 57,000 members for only 20,500 tickets, so it doesn't look good...

Unless I have misunderstood the ticketing arrangements?

so we only had 12,500 tickets for last week? cos based on that article we had 26,000 last week and have been given 16,000 more tickets??? when you consider that there are no corporate packages this week + the fact that i dont think the other 14 clubs are allocated their 1000 tickets, there must be more avialable this week to us members and then general public. Demetrou clearly stated that this weeks grand final will have more members than any other grand final.

Therefore we must have more than last week's 26000 dont we?

I'm not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure we did only receive 12,500 yesterday. Hence why everybody complains about the GF being corporate (even I had to buy a corporate ticket).

But somebody might be able to confirm or deny that.

Nah you are reading it wrong. 25,000 allocation between the two teams.

As much as i wish there was 40,000 each, it can't happen because of the MCC and the AFL members. Just be glad we get as many as we do, although that is how many we should get every year.
