Bears players trained at club headquarters yesterday.
In a sensational selection backflip, it is understood Las Vegas’ match committee have controversially reversed their club imposed suspension for attacking teammate Barrybran, and intend on selecting kdavva74 to line up today against the Baghdad Bombers at Abdu Prison.
While the club declined to comment when queried late this afternoon, sources close to the club have suggested numerous meetings have occurred between the board and football department since the incident, and ruors suggest the club President believed to be behind a strong push to overturn the suspension and select their star Full Forward in what the club anticipate will be a golden opportunity to boost their percentage against a lowly Bombres as they seek to strengthen their position in the top 4.
Talk of ‘commercial realities’ have been behind the push, with the club now focussing their energy on lobbying Sweet FA league officials for a suspended sentence during what is expected to be a Tribunal hearing on Tuesday evening, with the incident expected to be referred directly to the Sweet FA Tribunal by the Match Review Officer on Monday.
Journalists gather at Sweet FA house ahead of a league meeting with the Las Vegas Bears.
It is believed a meeting is set to be held at Sweet FA house at 1pm EST today, with the League to meet with Las Vegas heavyweights, led by the President with Player Welfare Officer Patrick Stewart also expected to make a submission.
The club intend on streaming the hearing live on their website, such has been the level of interest since the shocking incident occurred on Thursday morning.
