I think that England, or the scriptwriters, have done well to restrict Australia to 285.
Who cares who wins this dead rubber, what matters is who wins in two weeks time in the semi finals and final.
If we win this then there’s a strong possibility they miss finals altogether which would be hilarious.

Beautiful win by our mighty cricket team.
Our fielding,the best in the World which helps us to win against totals under 300 but a fantastic performance by the bowlers especially Behrendorrff,loved Lyon back in the squad.
Proud of our captain Finch,seems to have the players all gelling and creating a great chemistry like our leaders at Tigerland.
His 100 in very tricky batting conditions paved the way for a defendable total.

From Stoke's reaction for being bowled by late swing, it looks like he suspects sandpapering.
Nah they will beat NZ and that will be that, you don't want either Bang, Pak or SL in the semis because they are shit and whoever played them would get a virtual bye into the final and there is nothing hilarious about that.

What's the issue with those teams making it?
If you're concerned about falling out of match practice, we have full control over whether we finish first given we have the last game.
Couldn't care less where Australia finishes, just don't want a crap team in the semis who will 100% get thrashed by who finishes 1st which will be India.
Australia v New Zealand will be one semi final and India v England should be the other semi final.
Personally wouldn't mind seeing NZ v Eng in the final as it would be a new winner no matter who wins.

Vince is a park cricketer.
Their captain, while a good player when it suits him, shat his dacks last night.

Being a child of the late 80s and 90s I loved the Australian cricket team but absolutely loved younis and khan, Ambrose, Bishop as bowlers and Richardson, greenidge and Haynes as batters
This is the best thing about cricket when it’s played the right way You can forget about following your country and really appreciate the skills and art in the opposition
