Do Fremantle have to ask the club if they can use their jumper for the heritage round? No doubting South and East Fremantle would cringe the minute they get the phone call.
They embrace it. Fremantle is continuing the history of footy in Fremantle.

At least a fair percentage of our squad are from East Freo. What connection does your mob have with the 1970's WA state side? Why should Judd, Waters, Hansen and Wirrpanda be allowed to wear something that should be reserved for sandgropers?

So its ok for Freo to steal someone else heritage and claim it as their own, yet if the Eagles try and do something similar then its evil, its not on, its a disgrace
The past champions of the East Fremantle football club would loke at some of the drug ****ed deroes from the Dockers wearing their once proud jumper and think the same. Mind you some of those deroes originated from East Fremantle in the first place
Strange that Andrew Demetriou says that Port Adelaide's history before 1997 has no relevance to the AFL and that only Collingwood can wear black and white stripes in the AFL, yet they allow Fremantle to wear a blue and white striped WAFL jumper. Eddie McGuire runs Andrew Demetriou.
