Well sucks to be you then if you aren't enjoying their new work, heaps of other people are. Sure people are getting in to the band on the radio strength of sex on fire, but if they then go on to listen to better tracks such as revelry, use somebody, 17, etc then thats a good thing.
Terrible tracks in my opinion, the main reason why the album struggles so badly. Many people like it I know, it is easy listening. But wow just listening to you get the feeling they didn't even want to be the studio when they were recording. No passion. At all.
Disagree with old mate above though Y & YM isn't there only great album. Aha is easily as good if not better and if you picked they're top 10 tracks they've made, Aha would have the majority, if that even makes sense. Said this somewhere else, why BOTT is intended more for new "mainstream" audiences it still has the raw energy that its predecessors had. Some brilliant tracks.
OBTN - I'll give Closer, Crawl maybe. Then I'll go listen to their old stuff.
