I'd honestly find it easier to rate my top 10 least-liked Beatles songs, as there are so few to choose from !

this changes regularly, but there are some which I simply *have* to rate highly even if, truth be told, I might be a little burnt-out with a couple.

4 Rain
5 Taxman
6 Tomorrow Never Knows
7 the Word

9 Every Little Thing
10 Hey Bulldog (or, as a cheat, *any* of their early hits, which were all so much fun - particularly Please Please Me and From me to You).

could also do a top 10 John vs top 10 Paul - or top 10 covers by the Beatles.

anyway, my top 10 is fairly Lennon-centric, but I have really found a deeper appreciation for Paul's talents over the past 12 months; Pauls songs I find generally more divisive; a few of his I really can't stand, but regardless, *most* of his songs are excellent.

I *love* side two of Abbey Road, but it was hard for me to bump any of the songs up into the top 10; but Golden Slumbers, She Came In Through the Bathroom Window and You Never Give Me Your Money (all Paul efforts) are wonderful.

John: Don't Let Me Down: Not a song that is talked about often, but go have a listen, one of the best one's he sung

Paul: Got To Get You Into My Life: jumps out of the speakers, clear, impassioned and soulful

George: Roll Over Beethoven: Sounds great to this day the youthful exuberance of George, top vocal from a bloke who many rated as poor in the vocal department in the early days

Ringo: Octopuses Garden: Had to mention one. More notably Ringo banged the drums, smoked the joints and got the bitches
