Fair call. Billy would be in the top five at most clubs but on their day Arren or Billy can turn a game on it head. Billy Hewitt No 4 replacing, Arren Smith. Hoges may have been in the top 5 a few years ago but the old legs are seeming to cath up with him. On a totally different topic, Glen has been rumored to come back to Nulli.

Smith. With Bode may be having his last year because of work, it begs the question who can take over. Smithy is just one of a couple of names being talk about. It will be hard to find a a replacement for Josh because of his size.:(

Sunbury were very stiff with some of the umpiring decisions in that Grand Final.. Granted, Melton played above themselves and obviously better football on the day, but also had quite an advantage...:thumbsu:

This year will tell us how good a coach he is... They are being seriously challenged and there are some very good teams this year...

True - East Point, Darley, Melton, Sunbury and Redan all have a great shot at it this year. Fantastic for the comp!!

Quite an important game to lose , good coaches get the players up for the big games [grand finals] . i see no argument from anyone about him being a gutless sniper , this little man is well known in country footy for belting blokes from behind , on and off the ground .
I dont know about Mark Power being able to coach or not , time will tell . but he has been known to land the odd king hit from time to time, hell of a footballer in his day i believe , made the SANFL team of the year a few years back , not bad for a bloke thats about 5 6' ,Kingsarmy could tell you more about him , theyve been secret lovers for years.:D Hows London KA , i'll find out about maydays marriage tonight, hes comin round for a few tins :thumbsu:

Is this the club Greg Williams and Nathan Brown come from??
Any chance of the best 5 to come from their like the thread says?

Not my club but get to see a bit of them.
Cohuna Kangas (CMFL)

1. Peter Doyle
2. Rick Easton
3. Shannon Dehne
4. Chris Eddy
5. David Grove

Lot of young kids missing out there too. Thoughts?
yep pretty close but new player this year Nathan Pope definetely up there with them. Some young kids coming through Joel Bartram played pioneers last year and had limited chances to play in the midfield. Wayne Crichton determined defender who plays only for the team

Pretty sure Wayne Campbell comes from there as well and got BOG in a seniors GF when he was only 15-16...and i know christian Carter is from Golden Square, as well, so I imagine Cam (ex lion, bear, demon), is from there, as well..

I imagine their top 5, therefore, may look something like this:

1. Greg Williams
2. Nathan Brown
3. Wayne Campbell
4. Cameron Carter
5. No idea, not from there, but could include any of Nick Baker, Matt Dillon, Ty Elliott, Daryl Harrison, Phillip 'Toot' Morgan or Matthew Gunn...

Doesn't the thread say "Top 5 players AT your club?

as opposed to "Top 5 players FROM your club?

And it's Nick Carter, not Cam Carter, your sure know your footy T Perry!!

Is that Joel Bartram who had an older brother play in the BFL i think for Redan and has a couple of older sister's Jodie & Penny that live in Melbourne. He was always a dominant player at Junior level.

Fair call fencepainter..was just doing it quickly, and I thought WRFLfan was asking for Square's top EVER 5 players..pretty sure there is a cam carter, that plays/played at Elmore (?) in the HDL, which I know a lot more about than the BFL..Obviously you're right, and it is Nick who I was meaning..

Didn't mean to upset you, precious..
