Looking forward to next Sunday :D. I hope we don't get ahead of ourselves

Collingwood would have to start playing now to be a chance against the Tiges by the time the game starts next week.

Either that, or Richmond would have to turn up at the wrong venue.

Wonder what the shortest priced favorite in AFL history has ever been?

Magpie and Lions supporters must be crying at the moment. 2002-2003 how things quickly change.

It was a terrible, terrible, terrible performance, or shall i say game from the Pies. But, to be honest, i enjoyed seeing us get thumped by 112 points

Look forward to the improved Tigers now.

We have nothing.
lol,i think we have to start to understand that josh fraser is not a ruckman . he gets absolutely bullied every game , his best and only position is at center half forward.i personally believe the players have lost the drive to play for MM , and that we need an absolute cleanout starting with the football department , and including the older players who have been unable to take us all the way.as for chad morrison i understand we got him for nothing,i am starting to think we got dudded even at that cost.

Gee i was totally amazed with this result. The pies have a more than decent record in WA and whilst I didnt pick them to win, I would have thought a 30 to 40 point loss would have been reasonable given the injury list. This collingwood side is not the side that fight's when the odds are against it. At least when the side finished on the bottom a few years ago rarely got beaten by big margins. I think the coach has lost them.

what hurts more is the injuries today to Shane Woewodin, Josh Fraser and niggles to Scott Burns and Travis Cloke to go along with Cam Cloke, Chad Morrison, Simon Prestigiacomo, Ben Johnson from the past week aswell as Guy Richards, Anthony Rocca, Nathan Buckley, Leon Davis..... :(

Josh has a great spring when fit and the knee is good, plus he is our only viable option til Richards is fit. Rogan had preseason knee surgery and also jarred the knee again today. I doubt we will see the best of him in any position til next year.

Collingwood have lost the plot, obviously I was happy with result, but I thought it would be much closer.....Holland, Cole, O'Bree, Burns, Caracella all looked totally uninterested...even Clement was hard at it as he usually is. Lockyer choked several times in front of goal & after seeing his performance today there is no way Freo would trade to get him back to fremantle.

You guys have HUGE problems...you have to stop using injuries as an excuse (see your coach!!), Freo was without their number 1 ruckman longmuir & 4 of their best 22 still out with injury.

humble in victory and gracious defeat obviously not in your vocab.

Dont go shootin' off about how you were missing 4-5 players...Longmuir has been a talented but under-performed player for "6" years !!!!

You had your basic structure....simply we did not !!

Doesn't excuse the size of the defeat....but you can't pull up your socks if you got none......the inclusion of a Rocca, Buckley, Presti, Johnson and to a lesser extent Richards & C.Cloke not only strengthen the side individually, but, collectively too by making the 'periphery' players just that and not key players as with Caracella being the 4th fwd and not the 2nd

Richards was drafted in the same year as Lonie and he has managed 8 games. Not exactly great value and why is he on the injury list for most of his career. Anybody who thinks he is going to be our saviour is deluding themselves. When is he going to play a full season when he is 29.

Nobody is saying he is a saviour but he is a very good ruck man and the tall players take a while to develop. Richards in the ruck pushes fraser forward being the 3rd tall behind Tarrant, Rocca with Didak and Caracella being the other options not the only options.

How can someone be a good ruckmen after 8 games. Is he going to play this year. The last time he played was nearly a year ago. If Collingwood want a ruckmen recruit one who will actually play not topping your list up with dud players such as Fanning.

i agree with whoever said we need a cleanout at the end of the year...
an i suggest they get rid of their recruiting staff aswell cos it seems as though they always get rejects an duds.....Malthouse for one has to go, his had his time an is now finished, we need a coach thats passionate about cwood an has a good footy brain.....also i hope we finish wooden spooners, we havent been wooden spooners in a while so we need some good draft picks an all i can say is i hope they recruit some good midfielders, an start going 4 some big name players by offering big money, we need too....

On a last note, get RID OFF Josh Fraser please, GO josh  ur over rated and you dont even try so GO

Sorry goalpie I need to correct you on this misconception of yours. Guy Richards WILL become a good ruckman for us. He has ruck skills unlike some of our previous cardboard cut outs. Yes his durability is a concern but he's 21, when he came into the league he was a stick figure. He was always going to take time so thats what we should give him. When he's in his mid twenties and flogging another teams greenhorn ruckman you won't be complaining.

When is exactly the point. when is a bit like someday or oneday.

There should be some sort of written apology on the official website from either the president, the coach or one of the players after that performance. Get your act together Collingwood.

So how will that fix things.

Will it make the team play better

And even if they did post an apology what would it mean

Do you think the team doesn't know it played badly
