I was, but the defeat was neither here nor there to me anyway. We lost every week last year, and this season will be no different. The 15th side in the comp minus Crawford, Mitchell, Hay and a few others were never going to win that game. Back in the 80s we could win the fights and the game. These days i'll take one without the other as our side clearly sucks.

Cogs is so much better than Brown will ever be, it's not worth commenting on, but I will anyway.
As I mentioned onthe Tiger board, Brown is a dog. Couldn't take the bump handed out by Cogs, so while Cogs was down, winded, Brown decides to continually throw him into the turf (pity his name wasn't Reiwolt, it would be front page today).

It appears that he could take the bump handed out by Cogs. It appears that he gets up straight away and lets him know he's not in the least intimidated. It shows that Brown is harder than Coghlan, despite being lined up and collected he's not the one in the arms of the trainers.

Almost thought Brown was going to cry he looked that upset. Glad to see the Captain come in and give the coward what he deserved.

Coward? For riding a bump and then letting the guy who tried to do the toughman act know about it after he came off second best? I didn't see this coward take a backward step when other Richmond players tried to intimidate him afterwards, either.
