Jones al least has a burst of speed and good leap.
Close is an athlete trapped in the body of a tree. Lions aren’t stacked at tall KPD and even they aren’t bothering.
Close is 198cms and that’s it.
So he's Hooker, Hartley or Ambrose but quick.

I'm thinking a rookie pick as well but a club like Collingwood that needs something forward.Personally I would have liked to have seen Crameri stay (on the WB list), besides the departure of Stringer - having a mature forward like Crameri would have been important IMO. I think we're equally responsible for not managing his injury properly and rushing him back. I hope he gets picked up again as I've spoken to Stewie on a few occasions and he's a fairly reasonable chap.
Rookie pick for Essendon would be a good option in the PSD?
I wouldn't, personally.nick suban?
My point is they are both ordinary so why would we sign Hartung.I'm arguably better than Colyer.
Doesn't make it true though.
I'm not talking about the past.No way.... you’ve got to be kidding.
Colyer’s best was game breaking... sure that may not be coming back, but Hartung hasn’t ever produced anything even approaching that.
Apparently we've offered Merrett a new contract, but he is more interested in going to PortI've been told McKernan and Long will definitely get new contracts whilst only one of Jarrett or Morgan will get a new contract.

Long is 21 now so that's probably right. Either upgraded and officially drafted in the ND or re-drafted in the rookie draft.Long would need to be selected in the National Draft I'd assume.
He's an option but do we really need a player like him? He'd be behind all of Stringer, Smith, Laverde, Langford, Fantasia, Walla, Begley, etc.
Poor man's Stewart Crameri
Can he be re-rookied though? I thought he might've done his time and now needs to be elevated or delisted. I'm not quite over all of the nuances with the rookie eligibility.Long is 21 now so that's probably right. Either upgraded and officially drafted in the ND or re-drafted in the rookie draft.
Thoughts on Ben Lennon?
I'd be surprised if McCartney doesn't recruit him.
I think it's like a re-rookied if available type thing. He gets delisted then re-enters the draft. Can he be re-rookied though? I thought he might've done his time and now needs to be elevated or delisted. I'm not quite over all of the nuances with the rookie eligibility.
We can’t keep him on the rookie list for more than three years unless we delist him and then re-draft him in the rookie draft (or upgrade him to the senior list). The clubs seem to let each other delist and re-rookie through the rookie draft and don’t seem very interested in poaching each other’s players most of the time. Can he be re-rookied though? He was traded.Wasn't Josh Jenkins a poached rookie?
cannot run just not a need. Inside midfielders, a young tall and a lock down back would be the priorities I would have thought or just best available
