Why Mick, why? You're killing him. He is a key forward - play him where he can have an impact.

Stick him in the goalsquare, with Anthony Rocca at centre-half forward and Didak alongside Cloke when he returns until his fitness is back. I'm confident these two (Rocca and Cloke) can help kick a winning score, but most importantly the setup looks more potent, and Didak closer to goal is a luxury.

Rocca is now the goal square gorilla! I've been happy with Cloke at CHF, he didn't have a great game last night but he is just a kid ffs, let him develop in the gun position

Spot on he needs to play closer to goal maybe when bucks comes back he can be the hit up player up around the middle and wing with is the role trav is playing, at this stage trav doesnt have the smarts to be that player but it will come. This kid cam play.

it ****s me how he holds up play on the wing and half forward line...every time he marks a ball its a big u turn and hold onto the ball for so long he is forced to boot it long...its a consistent pattern i see with him

not gonna write him off he is 19

Why don't we get him to kick 5 goals! This is T.Cloke's best role, he is not the best contested mark. I hardly think he is playing like Tarrant, he is playing like Rocca played as a CHF, he is not leading THAT far up the ground. He is best left leading up to the HFF and quickly moving it on and using his big kick to our advantage.

He doesnt have much of a goalkicking record either from what the commentators said last night.

He is a good mark and long kick player, so HFF is a good position for him. Doesnt necessarily mean chuck him straight in the backline. Use him at both ends but more as a forward because he can play that role well.

I dunno about Cloke, but Rocca justified that he can play CHF and proved MY point that he is still capable as a CHF. He kicked to MASSIVELY inspirational goals from 65+ metres out. Why throw him at FF when he is just as able at CHF to make a massive difference. And it was good to see him throw his body around a bit. This is exactly what we need. We just need a big body at FF as Pebbles controls CHF and Cloke plays Tarrants old role in his own style.

I think there forward line should be as follows:

LFP: Paul Medhurst FF: Ben Reid/Nathan Buckley (If they need goals he always is a good option up forward)RFP: Tarkyn Lockyer/Leon Davis (He should play midfield)
LFH: Alan Didak CHF: Anthony Rocca RHF: Travis Cloke

Didak,Lockyer & Davis all capable of playing midfield

FFS - Trav Cloke is in his third year of AFL, plays the hardest spot on the ground and has to lead up to the worst midfielders in the AFL.

Let the kid learn the trade. He is the best CHF fwd prospect we have had in many years.

Focus on Licca and Obree who should both be punted!

I think Travis Cloke just needs to work on his set shot for goal really poor overall he'll be one of the comps stars along with Lance Franklin in years to come.

Oh for christ sake if you try to turn him into Tarrant you are going to get someone on $300,000-$400,00 that can't mark or kick straight!!!!! As if Mickey would want another Tarrant, he got rid of him, finally, and lets move on. Travis is a problem, but also young so we should just see where his strengths take us and go with that.

I think Collingwood would kill for another Tarrant FFS youse are so harsh on him atleast he can win games for Collingwood single-handedly off his own boot.

Actually Collingwood where robbed of that grand final Rocca had 5 after a tight set shot kick from the boundary which went over the post but inside it which umpire called a point while Tarrant kicked a goal and umpire said it was touched so instead of 2 points it could have been 10 and the margain was 9 so......different outcome possibly?

I think our best set up is CLoke and Fraser at CHF being the targets coming out of defence and Rocca 1-out in the goal square and Medders in front and Leon behind as crumbers

Problem was Trav was turning around and had to kick to Medders or Leon in a contested situation

Bring in Bryan so we have the 3 rucks and let Josh play forward, the ruck will end his career early and 2 targets means that they dont have to do as much running

This is exactly what I would do. Put Didak in their as well and have Bucks play HBF so the delivery is good.

Travis cloke will be fine, playing chf is the hardest possie on the ground, how many 19 year olds are dominating this possie? Go Pies:)
