Deserves his own thread for that performance, can't see him being nudged out of the team if he performs like that week in week out, absolutely sensational.

I was all over him last year and this preseason - he should have played more games last year ahead of Ellis. What an inspiring game from him and kicked that great snap in the last.

Is going to be a great player - no nonsense sort of guy but loves the tough stuff, loves taking them on and neat skills. He is wiry like his old man as well.

Yeah good call on the Rising Star nom if he's eligible, only competition so far would be Brown from Collingwood.

Wiry?? He's a tank :D

brown from collingwood has had a great couple of rounds so it wouldn't surprise or disappoint me if he was to get it. but cyril had a lightning first half too and could challenge for a nomination for this round too. good times ahead!

Nightwolf is Tucky def eligible for rising star??

The winner must be under the age of 21 at January 1 of that year, must not have played more than 10 games to the start of that season and must not have been suspended by the AFL or State League tribunals during the season (as with the Brownlow Medal, players found guilty of certain offences and fined or reprimanded by the Tribunal remain eligible to win the award).

Trav turns 21 later this year, so yes he is eligible.

Average performance. I really felt he sat behind play waiting for cheap touches. Didn't put his body on the line and played for himself.

Nah cant even bring myself to joke about that performance:)

. Superb!

Great game by Tuck and it certainly looks like he, Rioli and Stokes have big futures at the club. I am just disappointed that we don't seem to be getting the value expected from Ellis at a pick 3 and Dowler at a pick 6.

Hope those boys juatify their selections.

The perfect prototype of the new age midfielder. Another cog in what is fast becoming the most deep and talented midfield in the competition.

I was devastated Collingwood took Dale Thomas the pick before us - they forced our hand to a degree to take Ellis. Could you imagine him running around for us??? Exactly what we needed at the time, although Cyril:D now appears to more than make up for my heartache missing Thomas (and Buddy for missing Judd:D:D:D:D). You wouldn't trade either for either. Geez we have done well!!!

Had no one on him all night. Literally didnt see a player near him. Guess thats what happens when your 9th in line and a great player to boot :thumbsu:

I was expecting that type of a brilliant performance by Tuck, I was really impressed by him over the pre - season, not many people agreed with me though, proves he has though. Well done.

Watched him a lot when he was playing for the Stingrays in the TAC, as a couple of my students were playing for them at the same time. TBH, didn't think he was that much chop, but my word, he was sensational today, especially after nearly turning the ball over early. A long way to go, but reckon that Son of a Gun could also be a Gun if we're lucky...
