had a rough trot last year,
anyone think $335,000 is worth picking him up

im getting him
in my opinion he is as big a bargain as hall
both have averaged 80s and 90s in their careers
yes both struggled last year with injury but both now look very fit and very good

if that was the case he wouldnt be getting the captaincy back
his fit his the main man down forward
he pushes up field to get kicks then works back down

Take Nathan Thompson over Tredrea. At least u'll save <$80,000 and then less of a risk if Thompson doesn't perform. Their averages will be similar anyway IMO. I had Tredrea when i had a team i thought was set, but then realised he's just not worth it. And it opened up many more options with that spare money.

i disagree - tredders is more certain to perform than thompson. Even though i have thompson in my team, i'd rather have tredders if i had the $$$. Expect his value to go up, but not to the heights of his peak years.

I think either have a huge upside...

As long as they can make some $$$...

Its all good imo!!!

:D

I had him last year and as we all know he really struggled. He looked sharp in the half he played against Carlton but which key forward doesnt look good against the Blues? I'm gonna see how he goes in the first couple of games before I make a decision on him.
