I don't think GWS would want our fringe guys. Witts would be a good option for them, but they could also just get Kreuzer.

I think first + second round this year + Second round next year would be better for them than a fringe guy if they don't want witts.

But who knows what wheeling and dealing Hine will do. I really hope this deal is done week one, but generally these things take the whole month and these threads get to about 700 pages before it gets done.

Strongly doubt GWS would look at Kruezer or Leuey given their injury history and the fact they already have Mumford. Would be pretty ballsy.

We are into massively Kreuzer and if latest rumors are correct, already done deal. Things move fast now.

Yep. Ideally we keep Witts and give him and Grundy another year to see what happens.

If we do have to lose him to get Treloar then so be it. (Though I wouldn't give Witts up for any less) but I would really try all other options first - and that 7/25/player might be enough. (Given that it's pretty much exactly what we received for Beams)

If its pretty much what we received for Beams we are paying overs. Beams was a B and F winner, an All Australian, 5 years of finals campaigns under his belt. Treloar is yet to win either of these honours, or show his mettle in September, and didn't make the top 40 of the AA team this year. The kid is good and has potential, but he isn't in the top echelon of AFL mids, at least not yet.....

Witts is as good as gone , young ruck who has shown a little. Its exactly what GWS require to back up Mumford.

You have to give something to get something. Witts & First rounder is the very least we should be offering.

You have to think others players will need to be involved in this trade, neither directly or picks obtained for them.

Witts is an obvious candidate, either directly or what we can get for him from another club. This would make sense if we are really looking at Kruezer. Not that I am sure we need him.

Just got a text from a mate who gets reasonable info that Kreuzer has chosen Pies and told the Blues of his intention to go there. Eddie has been up Kreuzer for some time, always wondered why, makes some sense now.

Hearing around the $500k mark, basically replacing Clinton Young with Kreuzer.

PS the AFL formula is pretty stupid, its basically corrupt but that's the AFL, the clubs have sat back and let them get away with for too long.
