Not getting "steak knives"simply removes the need for posters to moan about their worth for the next 3-4 years before they are delisted.

We still have options:
- our pick 26 & GWS 2nd pick (incoming) or St Kilda 2016 2nd pick (incoming)
- or we involve Nth Melb, with them sending Bastinac to Brisbane & we pass a pick to Nth.

We still have the trade currency to land Aish.
Although dreams of trading back into the first round are gone.

Have you noticed Brisbane's strong stance on not trading Aish has constantly been backtracking over the past few days to "we will only trade him for a 1st round pick".

It'll definitely happen, Brisbane don't want him to walk to the PSD for nothing and we'll come up with a decent deal in the end.

Mentioned how complexities on GWS's end - through a large player turnover and therefore constant pick exchanges etc - is what has kept the deal from going through (i.e. GWS needing to know what picks they'll end up with, and how this suits what we want coming our way along with AT). But he's sure that has been sorted from their end now.

Going by Hine's comments I think we maybe waiting for the Carlton to hand over their second round pick (pick 20 or 21) to GWS (for Plowman, Sumner etc) and that maybe forwarded to us as part of the Treloar deal.
