Tribunal findings from Kinglake Vs Seville

AFLVic are not doing themselves any favours (or country football) if they want to stamp out "alledged" king hits. Now I obviously didn't see what happened in that game, but the general consensus seems to be that some ordinary efforts were on display.

This is the 2nd off the ball incident that has had a penalty cut in half that I know of in 2010.

Does the appeals board only have 1 eye and only sees half a case, therefore giving half the sentence ?

appears local knowlwdge your on the money a king hit get 12 serve 6 what a joke ????
where 's the protection kangaroo court again best part is Seville are out Yahooo

The argument was that it wasnt a king hit and that the kinglake player threw the first punches.

Good result in my eyes but you have to wonder why it got 12 in the first place only to be reduced to 6.

Hard to argue your case when you had some feral bloke going round biting people. Not to mention the 2 kinglake blokes that got sent off then came back on for the fight and managed to get off.

Time to move on. Great win by kinglake on the weekend, lucky to hold on in the end but did all the hard work early. Great game to watch!

Wasn't a king hit.

Imagine if Kinglake won the granny and went to 1st divy.
Then clubs in first divy would know what 2nd divy clubs have had to put with.

Send them back to where they came from or aren't they welcome back there.

Wilbar and Wellconnected what is wrong with you guys? Stop your sooking!

Wellconnected, your 'facts' and 'observations' from the Seville/Kinglake game are completely biased and mostly untrue.

Wilbar, who was the only team from the final on the weekend to have a player sent off for punching?

Seriously, start looking at the bigger picture. Every club has players that push the boundaries. If players are caught doing the wrong things then they should be suspended accordingly and then everyone can move on.

And Wilbar, when we played Olinda (now a division one team) last year we played as hard and tough as we possibly could and they always came in for a beer after the game. They even came into our changerooms after the grand final to say 'well done'. Maybe the better clubs can handle the pressure and tougher football.

Laker, yep, Seville player yellow carded, apart form that it was a great game to watch.

Just like to clear up one thing.
There seems to have been a few suggestions that the Seville players don't support other clubs by having a beer after a game in away clubbies. In my years of being involved with Seville I would say that the game at Kinglake this year would be the only one I know of where I didn't see the boys in the rooms after the game.

Considering the atmosphere, from both clubs, after the game I'm sure any reasonably minded person would agree it was wise.
Sure you will see them having a beer next time Seville is @ Kingkake.

I wasn't suggsting that the Seville boys don't come in for a drink. Quite a few of the players and supporters did come in for a beer after the game at Kinglake. In fact, Seville are very welcoming at their home ground as well and generally shout the away players a free bevy after the match.

I was trying to make the point that Olinda didn't have any issues with the way we play. They combated our hard, tough football by playing hard as well. So I don't think other Divy One clubs would have an issue with the way we play.

no , but ask any other divvy 2 side what they think of kinglake and its a diferent story!! If the game kinglake vs seville last week end was played in good spirit, why would your captain say to some seville players after the game "suck shit c#!ts??? Im sorry but kinglake over step the boundaries, not push them to the limits!!

BlueBoy you make me laugh. The player our captain said that to had been sniping all day and trying to start fights. And the real irony of that comment and the reason why he said it was that the same player had said the almost identical thing to him after you beat us at the chip. But I'm sure your player didn't mention that did he? Why would he? That would be showing that there is always two sides to a story.
