Have you listened to episode six? It was released late last night.

In episode one, they definitely make mention of a "Don Scott" tattoo. To me that made sense because it was also revealed the victim and her family supported Hawthorn.

However, listening to the most recently released episode, it is revealed the victim was a huge fan of AC/DC and she had a tattoo of "Bon Scott".

So now I'm wondering if she had separate tattoos of "Bon Scott" & "Don Scott", or whether the info of her having a tattoo of Don Scott is actually incorrect and the narrator made an error of mispronunciation / confusion.

I've finished ep5. Will likely get to 6 today so I will have a listen. Possible it was Bon Scott he said in the first ep and we misheard it?

Possible, but I've listened twice (once by myself and a second time with my wife having it on in the background) and I was certain it was "Don" Scott I heard.

I'm enjoying crime insiders at the moment. I have mainly been listening to the 2021 ans 2022 episodes that have Adam Shand as the interviewer. Just starting to listen to the other ones.

I've been listening to season four of Guilt a true crime investigative podcast created and narrated by Ryan Wolf.

Within 30 seconds of listening, I was totally invested. Ryan captured my attention with his delivery.

A little bit of background:

Ryan has 13 years of experience in law. He studied at the University of Waikato and is on the BAR. Season 1-3 were all local cases. At the end of season three, he welcomed listeners to email him with suggestions for a case to cover for season four. He was inundated with emails but there was one that captured his attention immediately. It was the case of Alana Cecil of Melton, Victoria. This is the first time he has ventured outside of NZ.

He's good. It's good. Do recommend. Please feel free to listen so we can chat about the case with spoilers.

Thankyou. Good listen. This is the most logical theory...

Alana, Lorelle & Michael went to St. Albans. This is where Alana met up with Lu & gave him oral sex. Lorelle & Michael may have encouraged her to get them drugs and Lu gave them a hit of heroin after receiving oral sex... it would also explain why Alana may have flirted with Lu (all part of the plan for them to score drugs)...

Alana, Lorelle & Michael ended up at the bonfire after there first hit of heroin...

Alana, Lorelle & Michael have then returned to St. Albans because they wanted a second hit of heroin...

They have somehow ended up at Theo's house. Alana being single would have again been encouraged by Lorelle & Michael to have consensual sex with Theo for more heroin. After having consensual sex with Theo and getting there second hit of heroin, Alana has unfortunately passed out...

Theo became angry that Alana passed out in his house so he told Lorelle & Michael to get her the **** out of his house. Convo may have gone along the lines of YOU BROUGHT HER HERE, YOU GET HER OUT. GET HER THE **** OUT OF HERE...

Lorelle & Michael got Alana into the car and they drove to the halfway house in Melton and left her there to die...

This theory makes sense because the halfway house was abandoned and it was a well known abandoned house so Lorelle & Michael knew they could leave her there without having to worry about anyone inside the house noticing her. It also explains why Lorelle & Michael felt guilty because they did nothing to prevent her passing out / denying. They in fact encouraged her to have consensual sex with a much older man for there own benefit (receiving free heroin)...

Lorelle & Michael didn't want to call an ambulance in fear they'd get in trouble for taking heroin & convincing Alana to have sex with a much older guy...

This also explains why Alana was fine (confirmed by witnesses) when she was at the bonfire. She was there after her first hit of heroin and only went on a downhill trajectory after the bonfire.
