Interesting day but clearly the bias contributed to the results. I'm just spewing that I didn't wake up to it earlier...and even more so that when I did some of the jockeys of horses I backed that were drawn out seemed oblivious to it.

I wouldn't read too much into the flops of some horses that had the inside running. But some of the winners were very impressive...Devil Moon - what can you say - this horse makes no excuses, takes the cards she's dealt and and wins anyway.

What to make of the day. the flemington track bias was shocking but who can blame them either have it now or have it later when the carnival starts. i say have it now and even latter.

only had the one collect for the day and that was on villian. i usually only punt on saturdays but on sunday a couple of weeks back i was so bored so i put money in my account and decided to have a punt. while watching thse races i noticed two horses and put them in my black book.

one of them won last week on grand final day called chiefcomingfirst. the other horse i has in my black book was villian. was a super run and obviously i wasnt the only punter who liked it last start as he was well backed.

as for the cox plate. i think miss finland would be would be happy and haradasun was unlucky caught 3 wide all the way. yes did have the better part of the track but always seems to run a good race. maybe a bit like aqua d'moure who always ran well but didnt win. well maybe harada will do the same.

good luck punting boys and we will do it all again next week. cheers:D:thumbsu:
